Casting announced for Manchester production of Parade

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming revival of Parade at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester.

The new arts venue are co-producing the show with Aria Entertainment and James Baker Productions. Parade runs between 13th May and 5th June 2016.

Tom Lloyd (Seussical/Just So) will lead the cast as Leo Frank, starring alongside Laura Harrison (Blood Brothers/Peter Pan) as Lucille Frank.

Completing the cast are: Jennifer Harraghy, Nathan Summers, Ben Jackson, Matt Mills, Shekinah McFarlane, Andrew Gallo, James Wolstenholme, Aidan Banyard, John Mulleady, Megan Ormiston, Evie Blackstock, Anna Berentzen and Natalie Hollingworth.

Director James Baker says: "Parade is a rich musical and one that is charged with a real story, that being the lynching of Leo Frank. Its social and political angles are very timely given the global landscape and the social difficulties we currently face. We've found an explosive, exciting and talented cast to tell this story, and we cannot wait to share the show with the theatre enthusiasts of the North of England.

"The North is fast becoming a powerhouse for new and exciting theatre and talent - and we are delighted that Parade is part of this new wave of creativity. This is the first production in our musical revival series and is something we are very keen to build on and develop through full-scale ambitious and innovative productions."

Parade has book by Alfred Uhry  with a score by Jason Robert Brown.
