Lin-Manuel Miranda's mega Broadway hit HAMILTON has announced its third production!
It was previously revealed that whilst continuing its Broadway run, a national tour will begin an open-ended run in Chicago on 27th September 2016.
Now it was been confirmed that a U.S. tour will begin performances in March 2017 at the SHN Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco, before playing its premiere Los Angeles engagement at the Hollywood Pantages on 11th August 2017 until 30th December. Casting to be announced.
HAMILTON is directed by Thomas Kail with book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The Broadway cast includes Miranda in the title role, Christopher Jackson as George Washington, Leslie Odom Jr. as Aaron Burr, Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton, Anthony Ramos as John Laurens and Phillip Hamilton, Daveed Diggs as Marquis De Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson and Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler. Javier Muñoz plays Hamilton at certain performances.
It is rumored that HAMILTON will open in the West End in 2017.
