Guys and Dolls transferring to Phoenix Theatre

Take back your mink and take back your pearls - it has been confirmed that, following its current run at the Savoy Theatre, Guys and Dolls will transfer to the Phoenix Theatre to continue its West End residency.

The musical will open at the Phoenix on 19th March (following the closure of Bend it Like Beckham) whilst, as previously planned, a new UK tour will also begin in March.

The current Savoy cast includes Sophie Thompson as Miss Adelaide, Jamie Parker as Sky Masterton, David Haig as Nathan Detroit and Siubhan Harrison as Sarah Brown. Please note casting for both the new West End run and UK tour will be announced shortly. The UK tour opens in Liverpool on 16th March and concludes on 30th July in Woking.

Based on a story and characters by Damon RunyonGuys and Dolls has music and lyrics by Frank Loesser with book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. Directed by Gordon Greenberg, this new production originally ran in Chichester in 2014.

Design is by Peter McKintosh with choreography by Carlos Acosta and Andrew Wright, musical supervision, direction and dance arrangements by Gareth Valentine, orchestrations by Larry Blank, lighting by Tim Mitchell and sound by Paul Groothuis. Casting is by Pippa Ailion with UK tour casting by Anne Vosser.
