GOSSIP: Could Show Boat transfer to the New London Theatre?

According to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Show Boat's previously rumored West End transfer to the New London Theatre is close to being completed.

If the transfer is confirmed, the musical would open in April 2016 (following the closure of War Horse) and run until January 2017.

Directed by Daniel Evans, Show Boat recently completed its run at the Sheffield Crucible. No casting for the potential West End run has been confirmed; the Sheffield cast included Gina Beck and Michael Xavier as Magnolia Hawks and Gaylord Ravenal as well as Rebecca Trehearn as Julie, Allan Corduner as Cap’n Andy, Lucy Briers as Parthy, Sandra Marvin as Queenie and Emmanuel Kojo as Joe.
