Earlier this month Kara Tointon made her musical theatre debut in front of an audience of four million viewers, taking on the role of Mara in ITV's The Sound of Music LIVE. Tointon made a stunning Maria and gave a stellar performance, making the role her own – she is a revelation! Tointon carried the broadcast and performed with a twinkle in her eye.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong
Mischief Theatre are unstoppable! I loved The Play That Goes Wrong, but think Peter Pan Goes Wrong - which has transferred to the West End following a UK tour - is even better. I can't remember the last time I laughed so loudly in a theatre and I cannot think of a better panto alternative. It's such a shame that Peter Pan Goes Wrong only runs at the Apollo Theatre until the end of January. Don't miss out, it is utterly brilliant. Read our full review.
