In July it was confirmed that American Psycho is transferring to Broadway next year.
It has now been announced that the musical will begin previews at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on 19th February 2015 with press night and casting to be announced.
Rupert Goold's production opened at the Almeida Theatre in December 2013 starring Doctor Who's Matt Smith as Patrick Bateman. The show was then going to open off-Broadway; however, the run was cancelled.
American Psycho is based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis. The show has music and lyrics by Duncan Sheik with book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
