Union Theatre to stage UK premiere of The Spitfire Grill; casting announced

The Spitfire Grill will receive its UK premiere at the Union Theatre next month.

Directed by Alastair Knights, the production opens on 24th July (previews from 23rd July) and runs until 15th August 2015. Musical direction is from Simon Holt with choreography by Lee Crowley. 

Based on Lee David Zlotoff's 1996 film, The Spitfire Grill is by James Valcq (music & book) and Fred Alley (lyrics & book).

The cast includes: Andrew Borthwick (The Visitor), Katie Brennan (Effy Krayneck), Hilary Harwood (Hannah Ferguson), Chris Kiely (Joe Sutter), Natalie Law (Shelby Thorpe), Hans Rye (Caleb Thorpe) and Belinda Wollaston (Percy Talbott).

Over 500 productions of The Spitfire Grill have been produced worldwide.
