A production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Jesus Christ Superstar at the Odeon Of Herodes Atticus in Athens has been cancelled due to the current economic crisis in Greece.
ITV Superstar winner Ben Forster was supposed to reprise his performance alongside Tim Prottey-Jones and Niall Sheehy on 3rd and 4th July in the show.
Writing on Twitter, Forster said: "I am so so sorry to inform you all that [Jesus Christ Superstar] in Athens has been postponed. Due to the economic climate there. I was so honoured to be doing it again. & that so many of you booked to come from all over the world. I am devastated. It seems cursed."
