Directed by Paul Foster, the new 2016 production will include an intimate post-show chat with Prenger about life, love and playing the role of Emma.
The updated version of the show includes the number 'I Still Believe in Love' as well as 'Take That Look Off Your Face' and 'Tell Me on a Sunday'.
Tell Me On A Sunday charts the romantic misadventures of a young English girl in New York in the heady days of the 1980’s. Brimming with optimism, she seeks success and love. But as she weaves her way through the maze of the city and her own anxieties, frustrations and heartaches she begins to wonder whether she's been looking for love in all the wrong places.
Marti Webb, Sarah Brightman, Denise Van Outen, Patsy Palmer, Claire Sweeney, Kerry Ellis and Louise Dearman have all starred in previous productions.
Prenger entered Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'I'd Do Anything' and went on to win the role of Nancy in Cameron Mackintosh’s West End revival of Oliver at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. She received a West End Frame Award nomination for her performance in the National Theatre’s production of One Man, Two Guvnors (West End/UK Tour) and played The Lady of the Lake in Spamalot's UK Tour.
Prenger, who is a regular presenter on BBC Radio 2, is currently starring as the title character in the UK tour of Calamity Jane.
