It has been announced that Jason Robert Brown's first musical Songs for a New World will be revived at the St James Theatre later this year.
The production begins performances on 22nd July for a limited run until 8th August 2015. Adam Lenson directs. His recent directing credits include: The Goodbye Girl (Upstairs at the Gatehouse) and Come Fly With Me (Salisbury Playhouse).
Songs for a New World, which premiered off-Broadway in 1995, received its UK premiere at the Bridewell Theatre in 2001. Jason Robert Brown's musical The Last Five Years has recently been adapted into a film whilst his latest musical The Bridges of Madison County premiered on Broadway last year.
