Casting announced for UK Tour of all-male The Pirates of Penzance

Casting has been announced for a new UK Tour of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance.

Sasha Regan's all-male production was first seen at the Union Theatre in 2009. Now touring for the first time, The Pirates of Penzance will open at the Richmond Theatre on 15th April 2015 (tour dates below).

The cast includes: Alan Richardson as Mabel, Samuel Nunn as Frederic, Alex Weatherhill as Ruth, James Waud as Sergeant of Police, Michael Burgen as Samuel, Ben Irish as Edith, Dale Page as Kate, Richard Russell Edwards as Connie and Chris Theo-Cook as Isabel.

Joel Elferink, Joseph Houston, William Whelton, Matt Jolly, Tommy Knapp, Liam Lakin and Thomas Henson complete the cast.

Choreography is by Lizzi Gee with musical direction by David Griffiths, design by Robyn Wilson Owen and lighting design by Jack Weir.
