Women on the Verge cancels performance due to cast illnesses

Producers of the West End premiere of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown have been forced to cancel tonight's performance (5th January) due to cast illnesses.

An official statement reads: "Unfortunately, due to a number of cast illnesses, we are cancelling tonight's performance at London’s Playhouse Theatre. Please contact your point of sale to exchange tickets to another performance (wherever availability allows). If no alternative arrangement can be reached then a full refund will be offered. We sincerely apologise to all those customers who were looking forward to seeing the production."

David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane's musical is currently in previews ahead of its official opening at the Playhouse Theatre on Monday 12th January 2015. The 20 week limited run ends on Saturday 9th May 2015. Bartlett Sher directs.

The musical stars Tamsin Greig, Haydn Gwynne, Jérôme Pradon, Anna Skellern, Ricardo Afonso, Haydn Oakley, Seline Hizli and Willemijn Verkaik. The cast also includes Marianne Benedict, Holly James, Michael Matus, Rebecca McKinnis, Sarah Moyle, Alastair Natkiel, Nuno Queimado and Dale Rapley.
