Full casting confirmed for Blood Brothers 2015 UK Tour

Full casting has been confirmed for the 2015 UK Tour of Blood Brothers. As previously announced, Marti Pellow (Narrator ) and Maureen Nolan (Mrs Johnstone) are leading the cast.

They are joined by: Sean Jones (Mickey), Joel Benedict (Eddie), Danielle Corlass (Linda ), Kate Jarman (Mrs Lyons), Tim Churchill (Mr Lyons), Danny Taylor (Sammy ), Graham Martin (Policeman/Teacher), Laura Harrison (Donna Marie/Miss Jones), Joe Sleight (Perkins), Ryan-Lee Seager (Neighbour), Lois Molloy (Brenda) and Graeme Kinniburgh (Bus Conductor). 

The tour is currently running at Sheffield's Lyceum Theatre and is booking until 2nd May 2015. Blood Brothers is directed by Bob Tomson and Bill Kenwright with design by Andy Walmsley. Dan Samson is the sound designer, Tom De Keyser is the musical supervisor and Kelvin Towse is the musical director.

Blood Brothers tells the captivating and moving story of twin boys separated at birth, only to be reunited by a twist of fate and a mother’s haunting secret. The memorable score includes A Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True.

  2. Seen the show over three decades, 1989 and it impacted me then. Again as a family we went in the early 80's and saw Linda Nolan as Mrs. Johnston. Sat in centre second row and tears flowed as they did with Linda and a few cast members at the standing ovation. Saw it again last night with the family-once more second row centre and joined with Maureen's tears at the finale. Thank you all, so, so much. A masterpiece Mr. Russell, thank you, sir.
