The Commitments extends West End booking to September 2015

Jamie Lloyd's production of The Commitments has extended its West End run at the Palace Theatre until 13th September 2015. The show opened in September 2013.

Phil McIntyre (producer) says “We’re extremely happy to announce that The Commitments has extended its current booking period for the second time to September 2015. The response from audiences has been quite incredible and we are thrilled the show will continue its residency at The Palace Theatre.”

The Commitments features many classic soul songs including Think by Aretha Franklin, (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones, Papa Was A Rolling Stone by The Temptations, Knock on Wood by Eddie Floyd, In The Midnight Hour by Wilson Pickett, Try A Little Tenderness by Otis Redding and of course, Mustang Sally.

The Commitments has been adapted for the stage by Booker Prize-winning Roddy Doyle, from his original novel.
