Lyric Hammersmith announces Christmas shows

It has been announced that the Lyric Hammersmith will stage two productions this Christmas! The Lyric pantomime is set to return to the Main House with Dick Whittington and his Cat. 

Dick Whittington and his Cat reunites the writer-director team from last year’s box office hit Jack and the Beanstalk. Award-wining playwright Tom Wells  is back to put a hilarious new spin on the classic Dick Whittington story and Dan Herd directs. 

The full cast includes: Delroy Atkinson, Aretha Ayeh, Tiffany Graves, Dermot Canavan, Rebecca Craven, Andy Rush and Stewart Wright. The show opens on 29th November 2014 (previews from 22nd November) and runs until 3rd January 2015.

Meanwhile Barry McCarthy will star in Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas in the Studio between 14th November and 31st December 2014. Emma Earle directs.
