The musical will star Debbie Kurup (Reno Sweeney, pictured right) and Matt Rawle (Billy Crocker) alongside Stephen Matthews (Lord Evelyn Oakley), Zoë Rainey (Hope Harcourt), Simon Rouse (Elisha Whitney), Hugh Sachs (Moonface Martin) and Jane Wymark (Evangeline Harcourt).

The production opens at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre on 8th December (previews from 28th November) and runs until 17th January. The 33 week tour of the UK and Ireland begins at the New Wimbledon Theatre on 29th January 2015.
From 6th April 2015, when the production arrives at the Opera House in Manchester, the roles of Evangeline Harcourt and Moonface Martin will be played respectively by Kate Anthony and Shaun Williamson.

Jane Wymark returns to Sheffield Theatres to play Evangeline Harcourt, having previously appeared in Racing Demon as part of theDavid Hare Season. Her other theatre work includes Medea (National Theatre), This May Hurt a Bit (Out of Joint), All My Sons (York Theatre Royal), Short Sharp Shock (Royal Court and Theatre Royal Stratford East) and Hamlet (Old Vic). Her television work includesSinchroncity, Midsomer Murders (series regular Joyce Barnaby), Underworld, The Peter Principle, Rob Roy, Pie in the Sky and No Bananas; and for film, All Men are Mortal and The Fool.
Kate Anthony plays Evangeline Harcourt on tour from 6th April 2015. She is currently in rehearsals for Queen Coal at Sheffield Theatres. Her other theatre work includes Untold Stories (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Rutherford and Son (national tour and St James Theatre),All the Way Home (The Lowry), The Cherry Orchard (Aldwych Theatre), The Mousetrap (St Martins Theatre), Perfect Pitch (Hull Truck Theatre and national tour) and Romeo and Juliet (Hull Truck Theatre). For television, her work includes Father Brown, Little Miss Jocelyn, Judge John Deed, Totally Frank and As Time Goes By, and as Auntie Pam in Coronation Street. She recently took the leading role in her latest film - Wavelengths, which has already secured several industry awards.
Shaun Williamson plays Moonface Martin on tour from 6th April 2015. His theatre credits include tours of Porridge, Never Forget, Guys and Dolls, Saturday Night Fever (also Apollo Victoria) and The Road to Nirvana (King’s Head Theatre). He is perhaps best known for his role as Barry Evans in EastEnders – his other television work includes Plebs, Houdini, Scoop, Funland, Life’s Too Short, Episodes, London’s Burning and Waiting for Godot; and for film, Daylight Robbery and The Invention of Lying.
