Brian Gilligan takes over from Killian Donnelly as Deco in The Commitments

Brian Gilligan (pictured right) will takeover from Killian Donnelly as Deco in The Commitments at the Palace Theatre.

Donnelly plays his final performance tonight (14th September). He is leaving Jamie Lloyd's production to play Huey Calhoun in Memphis opposite Beverley Knight as Felicia Farrell. The musical begins performances at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 9th October.

Gilligan is an original cast member of The Commitments who has been playing Billy Mooney for the past year whilst understudying Deco. 

His theatre credits include: Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof (Jim Molloy Productions), Man 1 in Songs for a New World (Mermaid Arts Centre, Dublin), The Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz (Helix DCU, Dublin) and Curly in Oklahoma! (National Concert Hall).
