It has been announced that off-Broadway musical See Rock City and Other Destinations will receive a strictly limited two-week run at the Union Theatre.
The production runs between Friday 15th and Saturday 30th August 2014.
See Rock City and Other Destinations is described as "a contemporary musical about connections missed and made at tourist destinations across America".
With a score that incorporates pop, rock and folk, each story builds on the last to create a vivid travelogue of Americans learning to overcome their fears and expectations in order to connect and reach their dreams.
See Rock City and Other Destinations has music by Brad Alexander and book and lyrics by Adam Mathias. The show received the 2011 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Book as well as six Drama Desk nominations including Outstanding Music.
The cast includes: Richard Dawes, Laurel Dougall, Barney Glover, Ricky Johnston, Kris Marc-Joseph, Kathleen Larken, Joshua Leclair, Alex Lodge, Georgia Permutt, Neil Stewart, Nancy Sullivan, Sinead Wall and Rebecca Withers.
Graham Hubbard directs with musical direction by Matt Ramplin and lighting design by Tom Boucher. See Rock City and Other Destinations is produced by Aria Entertainment & Szpiezak Productions.
