Full casting announced for Chichester's revival of Gypsy

Full casting has been announced for Chichester's revival of Gypsy starring the previously announced Imelda Staunton (Mama Rose), Lara Pulver (Louise) and Kevin Whately (Herbie).

Directed by Jonathan Kent, the production will run between 7th October and 8th November 2014.

Completing the cast are: Dan Burton (Tulsa, pictured right), Jimmy Chisholm (Uncle Jocko), Jack Chissick (Mr Goldstone), Harry Dickman (Pop), Anita Louise Combe (Tessie), Roger Dipper (L.A./Farmboy), Louise Gold (Mazeppa), Clare Halse (Majorie May/Toreadorable), Tom Hodgkins (Weber / Boucheron), Kieran Jae (Angie/Farmboy), Julie Legrand (Electra / Miss Cratchitt), Danielle Morris (Geraldine / Toleadorable), Jane McMurtrie (Jaynie), Jack North (Little Rock / Farmboy), Damien Poole (Yonkers / Farmboy), Gemma Sutton (June), Natalie Woods (Agnes / Toreadorable) and Lauren Varnham (Waitress / Delores / Toreadorable).

The musical is based on the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee, with book by Arthur Laurents, music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Gypsy is often described as 'one of the greatest Broadway musicals'. The score features the musical numbers 'Let Me Entertain You' and 'Rose’s Turn'.
