GOSSIP: Emma Thompson to star in Sweeney Todd at the London Coliseum?

According to the Daily Mail, Emma Thompson is set to return to the London stage for the first time in 25 years opposite Bryn Terfel in Sweeney Todd.

The pair will apparently lead the cast of the English National Opera’s inaugural season of musical theatre with a series of performances of Stephen Sondheim’s musical in March and April 2015 at the London Coliseum.

Thompson and Terfel previously performed four concerts of Sweeney Todd at the Lincoln Centre’s Avery Fisher Hall in March this year.
