All Star Productions will stage How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at the Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre next month.
Starring Adam Pettigrew (Wicked), the production opens on Friday 9th May (previews from 6th May) and runs until Saturday 24th May 2014.
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is often described as one of the "most delightfully irreverent musicals of all time".
The full cast includes: Adam Pettigrew (J. Pierrepont Finch), Alyssa Nicol (Rosemary), Mark Turnbull (J.B. Biggley), Amy Burke (Hedy), Josh Wilmott (Bud Frump), Tony Rosenberg (Mr Twimble), Harry Stone (Gatch), Annie Wensak (Miss Jones), Hayley Jo Whitney (Miss Krumholtz), Benjamin Newhouse Smith (Bratt) and Geraldine Allen (Smitty).
The ensemble features: Nicholas Devlin, Adam Mitchell, Charlotte Tooth and Lizzie McConachie. Dawn Kalani Cowle directs with musical direction and additional orchestrations by Aaron Clingham.
The Tony Award winning musical has music by Frank Loesser and book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert. It is based on Shepherd Mead's 1952 book of the same name.
A satire of big business and all it holds sacred. It follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook called How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive, tackling such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant company man, the boss’ whiny, nepotistic nephew, the office party, backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and true love.
