Sneak peek at... Idina Menzel performing 'Let It Go' in Disney's Frozen

Disney’s Frozen has sledged into the #1 spot at the UK Box Office with an impressive £4.7 million opening. The film broke records at the US Box office last week becoming the biggest Thanksgiving opening of all time and the largest opening ever for Walt Disney Animation Studios with $93.5 million for the five-day weekend! The film has now moved to #1 in US and has been #1 in Germany, Spain and France.

Frozen features eight original songs from songwriting duo Kristen and Robert Lopez (who also also co-wrote The Book of Mormon and Avenue Q). The biggest musical number in the movie is 'Let It Go', performed by Elsa (played by Broadway and West End superstar Idina Menzel). Disney have released the dazzling number and you can check it out for the first time below.

Frozen received an overwhelmingly positive reaction from US cinema goers who have given it a coveted A+ CinemaScore and strong praise from US critics. Before Frozen, only 9 animated titles have ever received a Cinemascore rating of A+ (out of a total of 54 films ever) and every single one of the 9 is a Disney/Pixar animated title.

Frozen is in cinemas now.
