Brad and his fiancée Janet, two squeaky clean college kids, just happen to meet Dr. Frank N. Furter after their car breaks down outside his house one night. What could possibly go wrong...?

The Rocky Horror Show always provides a night to remember. This 40th anniversary production continues to push boundaries and break rules. The Rocky Horror Show has become a cult among fans who  follow the tour around the UK, dressing up as the characters and of course joining in throughout the show - there is nothing else like it!

I previously saw this production in January when the tour had just begun. Since I saw it last, Dancing On Ice champion Sam Attwater and Tracy Beaker actress Dani Harmer have joined the cast as Brad and Janet. West End Star Henry Davis has also returned to the production as Rocky. The new cast members have certainly given the show a fresh feel and are all superb in their roles.

Oliver Thornton makes the most spectacular entrance as transvestite, Dr. Frank N. Furter. Words cannot describe Oliver's performance - he owns the stage and feels every moment. I don't think a single audience member could take their eyes off of him for more than a second. His rendition of 'Sweet Transvestite' is shockingly brilliant while during 'I'm Going Home' Oliver manages to cast some sort of seductive spell over the audience, his performance is hauntingly mesmerising.

Philip Franks is outstanding as the Narrator. Being the only cast member who can reply to audiences heckling, he is incredibly quick witted and appears unphased.

The whole cast seem to love every minute and are perfectly cast in their roles. Henry Davis (Rocky), Ceris Hine (Columbia), Maria Coyne (Magenta) and especially Kristian Lavercombe (Riff Raff) all blew me away.

Dani Harmer may be known for playing Tracy Beaker, but her performance as Janet could not be any more different. She shows versatility and demonstrates good comic timing. Dani has strong on stage chemistry with Sam Attwater whose over the top portrayal of Brad is hilarious.

Even if you are not familiar with The Rocky Horror Show, you will recognise many of the iconic songs. Both acts are under an hour so the evening goes by in a flash. I would just like to point out that the musical is extremely sexualised and the humour is very adult, so not suitable for everyone.

The Rocky Horror Show provides an electrifying and unforgettable evening at the theatre. Richard O'Brien's unique show will always remain a timeless classic, there is something strangely liberating about doing The Time Warp in a packed theatre full of men dressed in corsets! I wish every evening at the theatre could be as exciting.
