On Sunday 11th August, the casts of the Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera will be swapping their costumes for sports kits when they go head-to-head in a charity football match at Bromley Football Club!
As well as featuring the musicals' cast and crew members, special celebrity players including Pop Idol runner up Gareth Gates, McFly's Danny Jones and Hollyoaks star Danny Mac (pictured above) will also take part in the match. Last year's mach was won my Les Mis and more than £12,000 was raised for charity.
The match is in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital ‘Theatre for Theatres’, a charity campaign which is close to the hearts of many of the cast and crew. The charity provides invaluable support to so many children and their families. The teams are also playing as a mark of support for Melanie Oakley-Dow, Head of Wigs at Les Mis, in her brave fight against cancer.
