Charlie and the Chocolate Factory debuts new Pure Imagination trailer

A brand new trailer has been released featuring footage from Sam Mendes' production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which opened at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane last month to mixed reviews. You can watch the trailer below.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman (Hairspray), a book by award-winning playwright and adaptor David Greig, set and costume designs by Mark Thompson (Mamma Mia!) and choreography by Peter Darling (Billy Elliot; Matilda).

More than 130,000 people have already seen the musical since first opening and in total an extra half million tickets have been released with booking now open for performances until 31 May 2014.
