An 'insider' told the Daily Star “Sheridan’s popularity is at an all-time high, and there’s a strong feeling that the next Doctor should be a woman. They think she’d be perfect and are planning to put a lot of effort into convincing her to consider the iconic role.”
As well as having a hugely successful television and film career, Sheridan's theatre credits include Hedda Gabler (Old Vic), Flare Path (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Legally Blonde (Savoy), Little Shop Of Horrors (Menier/Duke Of York’s), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), The People Are Friendly (Royal Court) and Into The Woods (Donmar).
Later this year Sheridan will star in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Noel Coward Theatre alongside David Walliams. Click here to book tickets.
