Les Miserables to welcome new cast later this month

On Monday 17th June 2013 the West End production of Les Miserables will welcome new cast members as part of a major cast change. 

Making their West End debuts will be Na-Young Jeon as ‘Fantine’, Rob Houchen as ‘Marius’ and Anton Zetterholm as ‘Enjolras’. Carrie Hope Fletcher makes her adult West End debut as ‘Eponine’. They will be joined by Wendy Ferguson as ‘Madame Thénardier’. 

Geronimo Rauch (pictured) will continue to star as ‘Jean Valjean’, Tam Mutu as ‘Javert’, Cameron Blakely as ‘Thénardier’ and Samantha Dorsey as ‘Cosette’.

Na-Young Jeon recently played ‘Kim’ in “Miss Saigon” in the Netherlands. Her other credits include ‘Bianca’ in “Kiss Me, Kate”. 

Rob Houchen trained at Guildford School of Acting and after graduating toured Germany with “The 12 Tenors”. 

Carrie Hope Fletcher returns to Les Mis as ‘Eponine’ having played ‘Young Eponine’ at the Palace Theatre in 2001. Her West End credits include ‘Jemima Potts’ in “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” at the London Palladium and ‘Jane Banks’ in “Mary Poppins” at the Prince Edward Theatre. 

Swedish born Anton Zetterholm’s European credits include ‘Tarzan’ in “Disney’s Tarzan”, ‘Fiyero’ in “Wicked”, ‘Alfred’ in “Dance of the Vampires” and ‘Rudolf’ in “Elisabeth”. 

Wendy Ferguson recently played ‘Carlotta’ in “The Phantom of the Opera” at Her Majesty’s Theatre and the 25th Anniversary at the Royal Albert Hall and ‘Widow Corney’ in “Oliver!” at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
