Circus Maximus may be the first ever circus competition but I don't think it will be the last. Christopher Green introduced five exceptionally talented performers. He was nothing but hilarious and charming throughout the show which only lasted an hour. Five fantastic performers specialising in extreme handstands, static trapeze, aerial, hula-hooping and juggling/unicycling were fighting for a place in the final.
The audience were given the power to decide who should go through to the Circus Maximus final. It was impossible to choose; I wanted them all to go through which shows how incredibly high the standard was. It was an evening full of variety and I will be booking tickets to see the next show.
The entire audience seemed to be sitting on the edge of their seats throughout the evening, endless whoops and cheers were heard. I went with a friend who was greatly disappointed when the evening came to an end. I would highly recommend Circus Maximus. There is nothing else like it and you are bound to have the most amazing time.
