Full casting has been announced for Bare which runs at the Union Theatre from 30th April (previews from 24th April) until 25th May 2013. The production will star Lilly-Jane Young as Ovy, Ross William Wild as Jason and Michael Vinsen as Peter (pictured below).
Bare is a contemporary rock musical which follows a group of teens wrestling with issues of identity, sexuality, and religion at a co-ed Catholic boarding school. Provocative, raw, and unyielding in its exploration of how today's generation navigates the tightrope between adolescence and adulthood, Bare examines the consequences of baring a soul-or hiding it from those who matter most.
Through its pulsating rock score and emotionally charged story, Bare has thrilled and moved audiences around the world in over 100 productions since its first staging in Los Angeles in 2000. Now it is to get its European premiere from the award-winning creative team behind the sell-out production of Steel Pier at The Union and Rent at Greenwich Theatre.
The full cast includes Natalie Chua, Jordan Lee Davies, Dale Evans, Melanie Greaney, Matt Harrop, Fia Houston-Hamilton, Dan Krikler, Hannah Levane, Liam Ross-Mills, Michael Vinsen, Ross William Wild, Rosanna Yeo, Lilly-Jane Young and Dean John Wilson.
