On Sunday 24th March 2013, eight West End stars will perform in a special charity gig, 'SONGBIRDS... Songs from the Heart'. The Award Winning Battersea Barge plays host to a unique and intimate gig to raise vital funds for The British Heart Foundation. One of the performers and Understudy of the Year 2013 nominee, Emma Hatton, is also running the London marathon for the charity in April.
'SONGBIRDS... Songs from the Heart' features an incredible, all female line up with amazing women singing songs closest to their hearts. The line-up of ladies consists of Claudia Bradley (Starlight Express, Les Miserables), Cassie Compton (Les Miserables, Dirty Dancing, Wicked), Steph Fearon (finalist of BBC's Over The Rainbow, Rent), Emma Hatton (Dreamboats and Petticoats, We Will Rock You), Jodie Jacobs (We Will RockYou, Evita, Footloose, Rock of Ages), Katie Paine (Girl's Night, We Will Rock You), Lorna Want (Dreamboats and Petticoats, The Fantastiks, Evita, Footloose) and Daisy Wood-Davis (Dreamboats and Petticoats, Rocky Horror Show).
Sean Green and Coleman James will accompany the performers on piano and guitar. The evening will also include a raffle with some fantastic prizes on offer.
