Andrew Lloyd Webber, has apparently told WhatsOnStage.com that he plans to bring the Austrailian version of Love Never Dies back to London "later this year or early next."
In Love Never Dies, 10 years after the mysterious disappearance of The Phantom from the Paris Opera House, Christine Daaé accepts an offer to come to America and perform at New York's fabulous new playground of the world - Coney Island. Christine arrives in New York with her husband Raoul and their son Gustave. She soon discovers the identity of the anonymous impresario who has lured her from France to sing.
The London premiere, opened in March 2010 to awful reviews. The new London production would likely be based on the Australian version of the show - it has worked better than its London counterpart because of "little involvement" on Lloyd Webber's part, he jokes - though there has been no word on whether the London production would change the rumoured UK tour.
