Full casting announced for The Winslow Boy at The Old Vic

It has been announced that Sia Berkeley, Deborah Findlay, Naomi Frederick, Nick Hendrix, Stephen Joseph, Wendy Nottingham, Charlie Rowe, Peter Sullivan, Richard Teverson and Jay Villiers will join Henry Goodman in The Winslow Boy at The Old Vic, directed by Lindsay Posner. Terence Rattigan’s classic play about the pursuit of justice will open at The Old Vic on 19th March 2013 (with previews from 8th March). 


When fourteen-year-old Ronnie Winslow (Charlie Rowe) is sent home from naval college accused of stealing a postal order, his father, Arthur Winslow (Henry Goodman), determines to prove his son’s innocence. Appointing the renowned barrister Sir Robert Morton (Peter Sullivan), Arthur begins a courageous fight to clear his son’s name. 

First staged in 1946, The Winslow Boy portrays the battle between personal principles and conscience and an impenetrable establishment under the media spotlight.

The Winslow Boy will run at The Old Vic from Friday 8th March – Saturday 25th May 2013. Click here for tickets.
