This morning Chris Evans announced the first nominee of our Understudy of the Year Award 2013. It was revealed that Emma Hatton with be among the 20 nominees for understudying the roles of Scaramouche and Meat in the West End production of We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre. Voting for Understudy of the Year will open in May 2013. Further information and nominees will be announced over the coming months.
Understudy of the Year 2012 was our most popular award last year and was won by Katy Treharne for alternating the role of Christine in Phantom Of The Opera.
Voting is now open for the first West End Frame Award of 2013 - Best Jukebox Musical. Nine Jukebox Musicals which are currently running in the West End have been nominated. These are: The Bodyguard, Jersey Boys, Let It Be, Mamma Mia, Rock Of Ages, Singin’ In The Rain, Thriller Live, Viva Forever and We Will Rock You.
Voting for this brand new category will close on Monday 25th February to coincide with West End Frame's first birthday! Click here to vote.
