Linzi Hateley was born in Birmingham and trained at the Italia Conti Academy. At the age of seventeen she was cast in the leading role of Carrie in the RSC’s production, which played at Stratford before transferring to Broadway, where Linzi received the prestigious Theatre World Award for Best Newcomer given by the New York critics. Since then Linzi has played some of the most iconic female roles in the West End. She is an incredible, versatile performer and is currently providing some much needed light relief as Madame Thénardier in Les Miserables as the Queens Theatre.

She is absolutely hilarious in One Man, Two Guvnors. Her kicking and screaming tantrum on the floor and her comedic timing is second to none."
