Tickets will now go on sale for the West End production of The Book of Mormon 23rd September 2012. It was previously announced that tickets would go on sale 13th September 2012. The London production will begin preview performances at the Prince of Wales Theatre on 25th February 2013. Casting will be announced shortly.
From South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez, The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy for Best Musical Theater album, follows a pair of Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that’s a long way from Salt Lake City.
The Book Of Mormon will have severall press performances on 16th March, 19th March and 20th March as was as opening night on the 21st March. However all reviews are under embargo until 22 March 2013.
The Broadway production of The Book of Mormon continues at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre in New York. Last month the first national US tour began at the Denver Center Attractions’ Ellie Caulkins Opera House and in December a new company of The Book of Mormon will begin an engagement at the Bank of America Theatre, Chicago.
