Kara Tointon and Felicity Kendal will star in a new revival of Alan Ayckbourn's Relatively Speaking later this year. The production will begin with a UK tour before a planned West End transfer. The show will be directed by Lindsay Posner who recently directed Noises Off and Abigail's Party. The full dates are yet to be announced. The dates that have been announced so far are: Malvern Theatre from 29th August to 1st September 2012, Richmond Theatre from 1st to 6th October.
Felicity Kendal will play Sheila and Kara Tointon will play Ginny. Jonathan Coy has also been cast as Philip. Relatively Speaking is a comedy of mistaken identity centring on a complex love triangle between a pair of young lovers and an older married man. Kara Tointon recently appeared in another Alan Ayckbourn play, Absent Friends at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
