Earlier this week Jessie J told London's Evening Standard that she would like to team up with Andrew Lloyd Webber for a new West End musical. Jessie J previously appeared in Whistle Down The Wind at the age of nine.
She said: “I started out in musical theatre and he gave me my first break. I had a terrible time once and fell off the stage, and he made me feel better by giving me a signed Cats DVD. I would love to work with him again but what I would really like to do is write a new show. I’d love to think we can get together when we’re both free.”
Lord Lloyd-Webber, reunited with the singer at the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef awards in London, said: “She has said she wants to work with me and she is more than welcome on any of my stages. It’s something we need to sit down and talk about.”
Andrew Lloyd Webber's new reality series 'Superstar' starts tonight on ITV. Follow our twitter page @west_end_frame for live tweeting during the show!
Am I the only one who thinks Jessie J would actually make a good Elphaba?!
ReplyDeleteNo, you are not. I think she would be PERFECT. She looks the part, and could sing the hell out of the songs, easily.
