Tom Conti reprises performance in Twelve Angry Men

He's back! Tom Conti (pictured right) is set to reprise his performance in Twelve Angry Men.

Following his stint in the West End production, Conti will lead the cast of the production when it tours the UK next year! He  stars as Juror number 8, the role made famous by Henry Fonda. 

The Olivier Award Winner, Tony Award Winner, Variety Award Winner, and Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee is one of the most respected and celebrated actors of his generation.

Unforgettable as the leading man in hit films such as Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence and Shirley Valentine, he has also appeared as myriad different characters on both the big and small screens as well as on stage. 

Conti's recent movies include The Dark Knight Rises and Street Dance. He and Dame Judi Dench were recently jointly voted the Most Popular Actors in the West End in the last 25 years. 

Twelve Angry Men's 2015 UK Tour will open on 27th  January at the Theatre Royal Windsor. It will initially tour until 2nd May at the Richmond Theatre. Details of additional dates will be announced in due course. 

Lauded as one of the great ‘must-see’ movies of all time, Reginald Rose’s Twelve Angry Men originated as a television play and has been successfully adapted for film, radio and stage. The 1957 Academy Award nominated film version starred and was produced by Henry Fonda. This production is directed by Christopher Haydon and designed by Michael Pavelka.
