According to Baz Bamigboye, the Chichester Festival Theatre are in advanced negotiations with the Savoy Theatre regarding Gypsy's West End transfer.
If the talks are successful the show could open at the Savoy in March starring Imelda Staunton. It would replace Dirty Rotten Scoundrels which is heading off on a major 2015 UK Tour. However, Bamigboye states that the deal is "not yet complete".
