Earlier this month we revealed that action hero movie legend Sylvester Stallone will star in An Evening with Sylvester Stallon at London’s Central Hall Westminster on Saturday 11th January 2014. However, the event has moved locations and will now be staged at the world famous London Palladium.
Producer Rocco Buonvino said: "The London Palladium was always my first choice for this special event, but it has only now become available. We couldn't be more delighted to move An Evening With Sylvester Stallone there and so is Mr Stallone. The London Palladium has had a long and distinguished tradition of hosting the very biggest American stars in show business, from Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Carmen Miranda, Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Bob Hope, Liza Minnelli, Ella Fitzgerald to Sammy Davis, Jr. Earlier this year I had the honour to produce Hollywood legend Al Pacino there in a similar evening and it was a total sell-out in just 24 hours and a great critical success."
Customers who have already booked at the Central Hall Westminster will be contacted shortly and offered equivalent seats.
One of the most popular movie stars of all time, from the breakthrough Rocky in 1976 - nominated for 10 Oscars - to his latest blockbuster movie franchise, The Expendables, Mr Stallone will share private moments and insights from his outstanding career as he is interviewed on stage by Gold Radio’s Dean Martin. There will then be a Q&A session with the chance for members of the audience to ask questions.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, Sylvester Stallone said: “When people meet me they’re often surprised. I talk a great deal. I consider myself something of a raconteur. I have a rather audacious sense of humour. I’ve had such a long career and so many ups and downs. I have a big mix of wonderful stories and colourful anecdotes."
