Photo Feature: Richard Fleeshman at the Hippodrome with Cynthia Erivo

Last night West End star Richard Fleeshman (pictured right) played a late-night show at the Hippodrome with special guest star Cynthia Erivo.

In a couple of months Richard will climb Kilimanjaro with some friends for charity. All proceeds from the gig will be added to the money he is raising for the Calvert Trust Kielder. Take a look at pictures from the event below (click on an image to enlarge).

Last week it was announced that Richard will star in the West End premiere of Urinetown directed by Jamie Lloyd at the St. James Theatre. His stage credits include: Ghost The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre and on Broadway and Legally Blonde at the Savoy Theatre. Richard is best known on screen as Craig Harris in Coronation Street. His other screen credits include: Moving On, Midsomer Murders, All The Small Things, Reading Bedtime Stories, Monday Monday, Blue Murder IV and An Angel For May.

Cynthia Erivo recently brought audiences to their feet night after night whilst playing Celie in The Color Purple at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Next year she was star in I Can't Sing The Musical at the London Palladium. Her other theatre credits include: LIFT (Soho Theatre), Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act (UK Tour), The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (Gielgud), The Three Musketeers and the Princess of Spain (Traverse Theatre/English Touring Company) and 24 Hour Musicals (Old Vic).
