According to www.whatsonstage.com Starlight Express could be returning to the West End next year! The show could possibly open as early as March 2013 once the current UK tour of Starlight Express finishes in February 2013. The show is rumored to be skating into the Phoenix Theatre after Blood Brothers closes in November.
Written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Richard Stilgoe, Starlight Express opened at the Apollo Victoria in London on 27 March 1984. Telling the story of a child's dream in which his toy train set comes to life, with the actors on roller skates, the show has also been produced in numerous countries, as well as having a production on ice in 1997.
